More Than a Baby Season's Greeting Card

Many people celebrate Christmas at this time of year,
Some celebrate the birth of Jesus.
And yet, that is not the end of the story!
He was not just a baby, born like so many others...

That baby grew to be a Man;
He is perfect, He is God’s Beloved Son, His Father’s delight.
And He was born for a special purpose:
He came because you and I are not perfect; we are sinners!
He came to take away the sins of the world - He is the Lamb of God!
He came because of God’s great love for you and me - He is the Friend of Sinners!
He came to stand between us and God - the Prince of Peace,
For once, and for all - He is the Saviour of the world!
He chose to suffer and take God’s wrathful punishment for every man, woman and child
In His own body, as He hung on the cross.

He is not merely a babe, lying in a manger...
He is the Redeemer who paid the price for those who believe,
With His own precious blood.
He is the only Way to God - He is the Truth;
He is Life eternal - Living Water for a thirsty soul.
He is Jesus Christ, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords,
And He is coming back for His people - He is the Resurrection and the Life!
His gift is the greatest treasure ever given -
Undeserved favour with God. Peace. Love. Hope.
Life to all who believe.
