Twig the Collie by Craig Massey

Gordon, a young boy wrongfully accused of burglary, is sent to the country to live with relatives in an attempt to break him of his 'bad influences'. While there, Gordon battles against the prejudices of his cousin Willie, as well as the sin in his own life. When Gordon meets Mr. Blueweather, he hears the gospel for the first time in his life and quickly becomes a Christian. Gordon must then learn how to handle his anger at Willie and his self-pity in a different way.

This book has been a favourite for generations. It clearly and attractively teaches our need to accept God's forgiveness and to forgive others.
