The only way to bridge that gap is through Jesus.

Messages From God
Full text:
Where are you God?
I’m here, reaching out to you.
Do you really care about me?
Yes, I do. In fact, I love you so much that I gave my son to die for you.
Why did you do that?
Because you turned away from me. So I sent Jesus to seek you and to save you.
Save me from what?
To save you from your sin: all the bad things you do.
What’s so bad about sin?
Sin separates you from me, and no matter how hard you try, you can't get rid of it.
I know, I’ve tried.
That’s what makes Jesus so necessary. He was sinless, but died in your place, because of your sins, so you can be forgiven and set free.
What do I have to do?
Simply trust in my son: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved” (Acts 16:31).

True Peace
#MOMT268
Full text of gospel tract:
Perhaps true peace seems impossible amid the stress of financial decisions, the flurry of the holiday season, and the pressures of gift-buying. Maybe the thought of finding true, inner peace seems hopeless when everything is so busy and stressful. As hopeless as it may seem, the Bible tells us how to gain peace. It also tells us what stands in the way of gaining true peace.
We lack peace because our sin separates us from God. “Your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2). If not dealt with, your sin will lead you to eternal damnation when you die. “Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15).
Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ—the Prince of PEACE. Peace with God can only come through humble trust in Jesus. “Being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1).
Because we cannot solve our sin problem, Jesus Christ, the sinless Son of God, came to earth to take the punishment for our sin. He lived a perfect life and died for you. Romans 5:8 says, “God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” 1 Peter 3:18 states, “Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.” 1 Corinthians 15:3,4 explains, “how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day.” Christ died and rose again for YOU! You can have eternal life and true peace through Him.
God offers you His free gift of salvation. Salvation is available to you if you are willing to humbly acknowledge your sinful condition before God (repent) and, in your heart, turn from sin to Christ. Mark 1:15 says, “Repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Romans 10:9,13 says, “If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved…. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Will you humbly accept the gift of salvation this Christmas season? In the best words you know how, tell Jesus that you are sorry for your sin and ask Him to save you. If you willingly turn to Him, Jesus promises His true and lasting peace to comfort your soul. “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you” (John 14:27).

Maybe the thought of finding true, inner peace seems hopeless when everything is so busy and stressful. As hopeless as it may seem, the Bible tells us how to gain peace. no peace
God says twice, “There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked” (Isaiah 48:22; 57:21). You may say, “But I am not wicked!” You are probably a very nice person. Perhaps you try to read and follow the Bible. You may be a member of a local church. Perhaps you were baptized as a child. These are all good things, but they do not relieve your lack of peace, because they do not cure your sin problem. The Bible says, “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). God says, “We are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags” (Isaiah 64:6). We are ALL wicked in God’s sight and thus we have no peace. We lack peace because our sin separates us from God. “Your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you, that He will not hear” (Isaiah 59:2). If not dealt with, your sin will lead you to eternal damnation when you die. “Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire” (Revelation 20:15).
the giver of peace
“Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ—the Prince of PEACE.
You can have eternal life and true peace through Him.
will you accept the gift?
Christmas is also a time of gift-giving. A true gift is one that comes with no strings attached. It is given out of love. Eternal life is a gift, not something that you can purchase or earn. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8,9).God offers you His free gift of salvation.

Heaven's Checklist
#MOMT266
It’s tempting to think we can repay God for the bad things we do (our sins), and earn a place in Heaven by doing good works. But the Bible says, “By grace are ye saved through faith … not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8,9).
As Jesus laid down His life, He cried out, “It is finished” (John 19:30). Jesus Christ has done it all. What can we possibly add to the perfect work of God’s perfect Son?
What does it mean to have faith in Jesus Christ? It is taking Him at His word—fully trusting in what He has done to wash away our sins, and simply resting in what He has promised. Jesus said, “He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life” (John 5:24). “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25).

Have you done enough?
How many things on the list have you done? Some may say, “I can check off all of them—I’m definitely going to Heaven.” Others might say, “I have only done five—but that should be enough to tip the scales in my favor.” What if you can only lay claim to one item? Will you still make it into Heaven? The truth is, it really doesn’t matter how many good things you’ve done, because none of those things will save you from God’s judgment. Are you surprised? It’s tempting to think we can repay God for the bad things we do (our sins), and earn a place in Heaven by doing good works. But the Bible says, “By grace are ye saved through faith … not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8,9).
Do or done?
Someone has said there are really only two religions in the world: one of them teaches “I must do,” and the other proclaims “It is done.” One of them is our attempt to reach up to God, but the other reveals God reaching down to rescue us. The Bible tells of God’s love in sending His only Son, Jesus, to put away our sin and take upon Himself the punishment we rightly deserve. We read that “God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).As Jesus laid down His life, He cried out, “It is finished” (John 19:30). Jesus Christ has done it all. What can we possibly add to the perfect work of God’s perfect Son?
God’s way
When the Apostle Paul summarized the way to Heaven, he described it as “repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts 20:21). What is repentance? It is waking up to the fact that our ways are wrong, and agreeing with God that His way is right. God says “There is none righteous, no, not one” and in His sight we are “dead in trespasses and sins” (Romans 3:10; Ephesians 2:1). We need to align our thoughts with God’s; we must recognize that we are sinners, and abandon any idea that we can save ourselves.
Your call
Are you going your way or God’s way? None of us are good enough to earn forgiveness and eternal life; likewise, none are too bad for Him to save. Jesus has promised: “Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out” (John 6:37). Now is the time for you to repent and believe. Call out to God today. “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).Gospel tract.

Happy Halloween
#MOMT267
At Halloween we can pretend to be something we are not. We cannot pretend with God. A simple gospel presentation.
Full text of tract:
Halloween is a fun time! We get to eat candy, wear costumes, and pretend to be someone or something other than who we are.
Have you ever thought about what God sees when He looks at you? He looks past what we pretend to be, and sees everything we do and say and think. Does that sound like bad news? Here is God’s good news for you.
1. GOD CREATED US
>The Bible teaches that God made us so that we could know Him and live with Him.“In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him” (Genesis 5:1).
“God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people” (2 Corinthians 6:16).
2. SIN SEPARATED US
>Then we sinned, and were separated from God. Sin is anything we do that goes against what God wants.“Your iniquities [wrong-doings] have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you” (Isaiah 59:2).
“All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
3. JESUS DIED FOR US
>God loves us so much that He sent Jesus—His only Son—to die for us. Through Jesus, we can be brought back to God.“He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation [payment] for our sins” (1 John 4:10).
“Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18).
IT’S TIME TO GET REAL
We can try to hide our sins from God, but He already knows all about them.“The Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7).
“The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good” (Proverbs 15:3).
To be forgiven and made clean, we must put our trust in Jesus Christ, who died to pay for our sins, and rose again to give us life.
“God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
